A White crystaline powder, it dissolves very easily in water (110gm per 100ml ). Use sparingly though as it's much stronger than it's cousin Sodium Carbonate and can cause allergic reactions.

Potassium carbonate due to its potassium element helps to retain water in the soil and strengthens the roots and stems and growth of plants. Due to the high solubility of this substance in water, it can be transferred and absorbed simultaneously to all parts of the soil and all parts of the roots.

Detergent Industry:

The emollient properties of this substance have made it widely used in the detergent industry, including soap. Soaps that contain potassium carbonate are much milder than sodium-based soaps.

How's it Packaged & can I Recycle the Packaging?

It's packaged in a Zip Lock Plastic Bag that you can reuse, or it can go into Soft Plastic Recycling. The plastic bag helps prevent moisture getting into the powder and making it into hard lumps because we don't put any toxic moisture absorbers in!  We recommend you transfer it to an airtight container as soon as possible after receiving it from us.
